American U. goes on lockdown after reports of gunman

Police say an AU student noticed a man with a gun in his holster on a university shuttle bus and took a picture, then called police. That picture was later circulated on social media by AU's official account.The lockdown was lifted just before 9:30 p.m. No one was injured.Officials said the man with the gun on the bus was an off-duty officer.
